The most obvious reasons that most guitar players always play the same old barre chords are probably because the guitar is so un easy to get a good overview of, so pretty much all we learn on the guitar is made up of patterns, scales and chords are all made up of those to make it easier to get the job done, but especially regarding chords that can  really be a hindrance because we never get the full advancement of all the chords, voicings and inversions that are available to us if we never question those old barre chords. Barre chords are awesome to quickly learn to make music with the guitar but there's just so much beyond those. So here are a few basic inversions of the Major seven chord, it's in F and I hope this gives you an idea what you can do with it, of course this only scratches the surface
